Welcome to our recipes

If you’re looking at making adjustments to your diet, I always suggest focussing on small, simple changes and swaps. This can help make healthy eating more manageable and sustainable over the long term.

All the recipes I develop are aligned with my ethos of creating a happy, healthy relationship with eating. My dishes are made with everyone in mind, ranging from one-pot wonders, to plant-based meals and delicious breakfasts to fuel your mornings.

Breakfast

Starting the morning off well really does set you up for a wonderfully energised day ahead. It’s widely accepted that people who eat breakfast regularly feel healthier overall, have more energy and are typically leaner than those who don’t eat in the morning.

Lunch

I’ve created lunch recipes varying from super-speedy and portable to dishes you can enjoy on those days when you have a bit more time. Focus on vegetables paired with protein, healthy fats and carbohydrates to give you the best possible fuel for the afternoon.

Sides

Side dishes and dips are a fabulous way of adding more variety of colour and flavour to any meal or snack. The sauces and spreads I’ve provided here are all simple home-made versions of favourites, without the excess sugar, salt and preservatives you often find.

Snacks

Snacking is a really smart and effective way to make sure you’re not ravenous come dinnertime. Allowing yourself to get overly hungry will only encourage overeating. The snack choice you make is key to keeping you full and retaining a healthy eating regime

Dessert

Nutrition is all about moderation and of course adaptation, but having what we fancy from time to time is important too. I’ve made a whole range of desserts from healthier options to absolute classics so there really is something for everyone.

Why nutrition became important for me

During my time in the music industry, the pressures of looking a certain way had persuaded me to follow restrictive and unsustainable diets. Believing that shop-bought diet products and meal replacement drinks were the answer to looking my best, I began to suffer from malnourishment.

So I started to take more of an interest in nutrition to reinvigorate me and my life and soon realised this was my true calling. As soon as I made the life-changing decision to enrol at university, I endeavoured to learn from my mistakes and become as qualified as possible. After three years, I proudly obtained a first-class degree in Nutrition and Health from the University of Roehampton.

How I develop my recipes

I draw my daily inspiration from the idea of the balanced plate. We do need to be aware of how to eat healthily – for life not just for weight loss. My balanced meals, which are based on the Mediterranean diet and the use of fat-soluble vitamins, will help you achieve optimum nutrition while eating deliciously.

Each meal includes lots of veggies, adequate amounts of protein, healthy fats and whole-grains, providing you with key nutrients and satisfying your body’s needs.
