Creamy Mushrooms on Toast

1 tbsp olive oil
½ white onion, small dice
3 large garlic cloves, crushed
250g mushrooms, roughly chopped or sliced
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp yoghurt
2-4 slices of bread, toasted
To serve: chilli flakes, fresh herbs
