Fruit & Nut Slices

A Simple Way To Eat Plant-Based

Essential ingredients

165g medjool dates, pitted

3 tbsp coconut oil, melted

50ml hazelnut milk

2 tbsp cocoa powder

75g blanched hazelnuts

75g pistachios

50g dried sultanas

50g dried cranberries

100g rice krispies/pops

Mini chocolate eggs


  1. In a food processor, blend together the dates, coconut oil, hazelnut milk, and cocoa powder until it forms a smooth and runny consistency, around 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the mixture to a large mixing bowl. Pour in the nuts, dried fruit and rice krispies/pops, and toss to coat well.
  3. Spread the mixture out into a lined baking tray, and press the eggs into the top, leaving a few centimetres between each one.
  4. Pop in the fridge to set for at least a couple of hours, or overnight, before slicing into squares.
