Mince Pie Porridge

Essential ingredients

2 tbsp homemade mincemeat (see my mince pie recipe!)

50g porridge oats

280ml milk of choice

Directions

  1. Pour the oats and milk into a small sauce pan, and cook on a medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring regularly.
  2. Add extra milk if you prefer a runnier porridge. I like it thick and creamy.
  3. Either add the mincemeat to the porridge in the saucepan to warm through, or warm in the microwave beforehand and dollop on top of the porridge!
