Berry Oat Bars

 
 

These deliciously chewy oat bars are a great fruit-filled alternative to a classic flapjack. Bursting with fresh berries, hearty oats, a nice touch of nut butter, and that delightful sweetness they make for the perfect homemade snack.

Ingredients


180g of oats

2 bananas

2 tbsp of honey or maple syrup 

1tsp of vanilla extract

2 tbsp of nut butter

150ml of almond milk

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp of baking soda 

80g of blueberries 

30g of raspberries 


Method


1.
Blend together the bananas, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, almond milk and nut butter.

2.
To the oats add the baking powder and baking soda, and then pour over the blended banana mix.

3.
Mix well until combined, add the berries and spread over a baking tray lined with parchment paper. 

4.
Bake at 180C for 30 min until the top is golden.

5.
Leave to cool and then cut into bars.
