Chocolate & Banana Oat Cake

 
 

This cake is very moist and delicious, and it’s made just with a handful of ingredients that I’m sure you’ll have at home now. It’s made with no flour and no sugar. Having a slice of it in the morning is the perfect excuse to have dessert for breakfast -but in a healthy way!

Ingredients


200g of oats
4 tablespoons cacao powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
2 ripe banana (plus 1 more for the top)
2 tablespoons peanut butter
380ml of milk 4 tablespoons maple syrup Handful of chocolate chips


Method


1.
Preheat oven at 180C. Mash two bananas.

2.
Mix mashed banana, peanut butter and maple syrup. Add oats, cacao powder and baking powder. Finally add milk and mix until well combined.

3.
Pour batter on a baking dish, add chocolate chips and a banana halved lengthwise on the top. Brush the banana with maple syrup.

4.
Bake for 25-30 min until golden in the top and knife comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
