Cheesy Pesto Bread

 
 

If you love pesto and you love cheese, this is your recipe. There’s plenty of cheese in this cheesy pesto pull-apart bread. Perfect for a dinner party, it’s easy and made with just a handful of ingredients.

Ingredients


250g strong bread flour
½ teaspoon yeast 1 teaspoon sugar
150ml warm water 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
150g pesto
60g cheese (cheddar and mozzarella)


Method


1.
Combine warm water, sugar and yeast and rest for 10 min until it is activated. Mix flour, salt, oil and activated yeast.

2.
Knead for 7-10 minutes. Put the dough into a bowl greased with olive oil, cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

3.
Roll until flat in a rectangle. Spread pesto, cheese and cut in 10 squares.

4.
Stack them in a grease bread tin. Bake 25 min at 180C.
