Chocolate Orange Baked Oats
Who says the festive season is the only season for chocolate oranges! This flavour combination isn’t just for pudding and its ever so simple for breakfast.

Ingredients
80g oats (Soaked in boiling water for 10 mins, until the water has been absorbed)
20g flaxseed (2 tbsp)
4 tbsp water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp honey (or syrup if vegan)
360ml hazelnut milk
Juice & zest 1/2 an orange
1 satsuma
Method
1.
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.

Mix the flaxseed with 4 tbsp water and set aside for 10 mins.

Combine all other ingredients (except the satsuma) in a bowl and stir well. Add in the flaxseeds.

Pop the mixture in the microwave for 3 minutes, until it has started to absorb much of the liquid and starting to be the consistency of porridge.
5.
Stir again and transfer it to an oven proof dish or ramekin. Pop some satsuma segments in the top and bake for 25 minutes.
6.
Remove from the oven and let it stand for 10 minutes. Enjoy on its own or with nut butter, or chocolate sauce!
