Mince Pie Porridge
Waking up to a special breakfast on Christmas morning is a must but in the days leading up to it, that's your time to start practicing! Here's a jolly-good seasonal variation for porridge that’s way too good not to try!

COOKS TIME 5 MINUTES
DIFFICULTY SUPER EASY
Ingredients
2 tbsp homemade mincemeat (see my mince pie recipe!)
50g porridge oats
280ml milk of choice
Method
1.
Pour the oats and milk into a small sauce pan, and cook on a medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring regularly.
2.
Add extra milk if you prefer a runnier porridge. I like it thick and creamy.
3.
Either add the mincemeat to the porridge in the saucepan to warm through, or warm in the microwave beforehand and dollop on top of the porridge!
