Blackberry Porridge

This recipe could not be more simple! Just adding a handful of berries to your porridge on the hob really livens it up a bit, and you’ll be well on your way to 5 a day.

Ingredients


120g oats
360ml oat milk (I used oat)
10-12 blackberries, extra for topping


Method


1.
Pour the oats and milk into a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer.

2.
Add the blackberries in and squash to release the juices. Stir regularly, until thick and creamy and a lovely purple colour, around 7-8 minutes. Add in more milk, if needed.

3.
Serve with some banana, nuts, seeds and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.
