Easy Bread Empanadas
An incredibly quick and healthy snack or dessert that you can whip up in less than 20 minutes. A wonderful recipe for getting the kids involved.

Ingredients
For the crust:
1 slice of bread
1 tbsp of unsweetened almond milk to brush
Filling ideas:
Peanut butter or Nutella
Banana or strawberries
Pesto or other dips
Cheese
Method
1.
With a glass or circle cut a circle out from the middle of the bread slice and use a rolling pin or your hands to flatten it out.
2.
Spread your fillings over one half of the circle (leave out 1 cm from the edges)
3.
Close them and press the edges with your fingertips, following by a fork.
4.
Brush them with almond milk and bake for 10-15 min until golden and toasted.
